How hot should the sauna be?
-
This depends on how well heat acclimated you are. Watch the sauna basics video in the video section for detailed information. A general rule of thumb is that the sauna should be hot enough to cause you to sweat and be slightly uncomfortable with heat. For most beginners this is about 160 deg F and 30 % humidity.

-
How long should I sauna?
-
This depends on how experienced you are with saunas. In general, we recommend 15 mins at a time, and then stepping out to cool off, hydrate and see how you feel. Then repeating in 15 minute increments until you feel satisfied. In general, about an hour total in the sauna is more than enough for even experienced sauna goers.
-
-
Can I drink alcohol in the sauna?
-
No. Alcohol is not to be consumed while using an White Mountain Sauna Haus unit, this violates the agreement signed.
-
-
How big is the sauna?
-
It is 8 feet x 6 feet. In total the trailer is 14 x 8 feet.
-
-
Where can a sauna be parked?
-
The saunas can be parked anywhere there is a large enough space (roughly 10 feet by 20 feet), is roughly flat, and is stable enough ground to drive a large truck on.
-
- How hot do the saunas get?
- Our wood fired saunas will reach 220 F in about 45 mins, which is the maximum anyone should ever be in a sauna. We recommend keeping the temperature between 160 and 180 deg.
